What are some inexpensive projects I can do to update my kitchen without having to redo the entire kitchen?
Though ‘inexpensive’ is a subjective word and can have wildly differing price points, the most bang-for-your-buck you’ll get for the least amount of money would be:
- Painting your cabinets
- Upgrading your countertops and faucet, and backsplash.
Above and beyond that, we would suggest possibly mixing and matching the following:
- Modernizing the door and drawer style with new cabinet doors and drawers
- Updating the lighting to recessed can lighting
- Adding under cabinet lighting
- Updating the flooring
- Updating your appliances.
Once you get above that scope of work, your next upgrade tier would include new cabinetry entirely and layout changes. These changes make the biggest difference without a doubt, however are also the most costly to execute.
